Plan the Fuel Part of a Shared Trip
Mobility costs are not one number. A one-off ride needs a clear fuel estimate and a fair way to split it. Ownership, repairs, parking, tolls, and route choices are separate decisions with different evidence.
Start with the question you can answer from your own trip details: how much fuel will this journey use, what will that fuel cost at your entered price, and what is an equal share for the group?
Which Mobility Calculator Do I Need?
| Your question | Start here | What it includes |

| What will the fuel for one trip cost, and what is each personβs equal share? | Fuel Cost Calculator | Distance, vehicle consumption, your entered fuel price, an optional return trip, and equal passengers. |
Keep Fuel Separate From the Rest of the Trip
The Fuel Cost Calculator is deliberately narrow. It does not add tolls, parking, wear, insurance, charging, taxes, or a market fuel price. That keeps the number easy to check: change an input, and you can see why the result changes.
If your group needs to divide other costs, list them beside the fuel result and agree on a rule before anyone pays. For household saving and longer-term planning tools, return to the Finance guide. For a festival journey, the Festival Survival Calculator covers supplies rather than transport costs.
